somehow, i managed to get ahead of my schedule at work and decided to revisit my linebacker sketch of the dearly beloved annie clark (st. vincent). this is one of my first attempts at actually applying color in illustrator, i usually do this kind of vector art in corel draw, but i think this turned out somewhat interesting.

printed off a few shirts of a design that i threw together some time ago. thought that these would be perfect for sassy pre-teens, just like the figure modeling this one here (my sister). i'm thinking of setting up an online shop of sorts to sell these and some other things, but i still have about ten or so of these left, mostly girls cuts.

day of new sketches

i need to certainly start drawing more besides just at work, so i decided to just go at it by scrolling through some of my random reference that i have on my computer. and the lovely st. vincent from who i did quick sketches of turned out the best i feel. i surely did not make her as attractive as she really is, but i like the line and shapes.
